Yes! Next Chapter is completely free to use. We believe everyone should have access to great tools for tracking their reading journey.
Simply search for a book, add it to your library, and set its status. You can mark books as Want to Read, Currently Reading, or Read — plus track your start and finish dates, ratings, and more.
Absolutely! During onboarding (or anytime from settings), you can import your existing library from Goodreads or StoryGraph using a CSV export. We’ll match your books and bring over your ratings and read dates.
Next Chapter is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it directly to your phone’s home screen from your browser. It works just like a native app — no app store needed!
