How to Submit a Takedown Notice
If you believe content on Voluta infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the agent above. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (URL, username, content ID, etc.).
- Your contact information — full name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Counter-Notification
If you believe content of yours was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Send it to dmca@voluta.app and include your signature, identification of the removed content and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed in error, your name, address, phone, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., the Southern District of New York).
Repeat Infringers
In line with § 512(i), Voluta will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
Misrepresentations
Under § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please file notices in good faith.
